The Mental Game And Your Burning Desire
Everyone has great ideas, goals, unstarted business concepts, dreams, and unwritten books inside of them. You must realize that your mind, skills, and talents are not limited like natural resources. They are endless. Don’t be denied of your dreams and what you are meant to accomplish. Remember: you are responsible for fulfilling them.
Four Types of People
Take a look at those around you and reflect on the people who have influenced your life the most. Are they building you up or tearing you down? Every person you encounter falls into one of these four categories:
1. The Living Dead
These are the people who have given up on life. They drain your energy and do their best to remind you of impossibilities, past mistakes, and reasons why your dreams won’t work. Sometimes they do it unconsciously, but the result is the same: they try to pull you down because they wish they had what you’re reaching for.
2. The Dreamers
Dreamers are full of ideas and noble attempts at success, but they rarely follow through. Their enthusiasm fizzles out halfway, leaving a trail of unfinished projects. They live in a cycle of “if only,” “someday,” and “when things change…” They’re moving, but stuck in first gear, unable to reach their full potential.
3. The Achievers
Achievers reach a moderate level of success and stop there. They climb part of the ladder, find a nice view, and settle. They live off past accomplishments instead of pushing further. Comfort keeps them from reaching their next level.
4. The Exponentially Successful
These are the people who make massive success look easy. They live with passion, embrace challenges, and constantly grow from mistakes and experiences. They know who they are, why they’re here, and where they’re going. They inspire others simply by being around them.
Which group do you belong to? More importantly, which group do you want to belong to?
The Mental Game
Learning from others is important, but don’t fall into the trap of blindly duplicating someone else’s life or strategy. Take the lessons, but build a personalized path that aligns with your passion, skills, and conviction.
The more tools in your tool belt, the more equipped you’ll be to propel yourself higher. When you craft your own success pattern, your passion ignites like never before. You’ll begin to recognize the taste of true greatness.
If you aren’t sure whether you’re on the right path, don’t panic. Everyone has unique gifts, dreams, and goals inside them. Your potential will never run out. It only goes to waste if you don’t use it.
Until you hold yourself fully responsible, you don’t own your dreams — you’re only renting them.
Burning Desire: The First Step Toward Exponential Success
Desire is the foundation of all achievement. When you channel your energy and emotions into a burning desire, you create momentum toward exponential success.
This kind of desire is deeper than excitement — it is conviction. Conviction pulls you through challenges, fuels your courage, and gives you the strength to climb mountains others think are impossible.
Right now, you hold within you a power plant burning with potential energy. You have the capacity to light an entire city, yet too often we use only enough energy to light a single bulb. Your potential is waiting.
Just like a space shuttle uses the most fuel to break through the atmosphere before reaching orbit, you will need the greatest energy and effort to launch your dreams. But once you’re in motion, momentum takes over.
Exponential success becomes not just possible but inevitable when you move with burning desire, conviction, and purpose.
